Information about the exemption
As a member of the School of Historical Fencing you are allowed to possess swords under the General Exemption for Sword Ownership, relating to Fencing, subect to the following conditions:
1) You are NOT a Prohibited person according to the Definition of Prohibited Person - http://tinyurl.com/qg7u4th
2) You provide the school with the address at which you will be storing your swords
3) other conditions relating to storage and use of swords as set out in the Control of Weapons Act 1990, Exemption to Possess Swords – Martial Arts Order in Council: www.gazette.vic.gov.au/gazette/Gazettes2014/GG2014G023.pdf#page=91
